This summer's hyped up blockbusters keep coming and I could care less about getting myself to a theater and plunking down my money. However, soon as I heard about the March of the Penguins, I felt a tingle of anticipation. Saw it on Friday and LOVED it. Yes, I know...the "French" connection...well, I decided to not let that ruin my enjoyment of a delightful and entertaining movie that is family friendly even though some penguins are part of the food chain and are victims of the harsh climate. Those realities of nature are handled discretely but honestly. The photography is stunning. I was especially enthralled when these adorably awkward on land creatures hit the water and swam under the ice...breathtaking!!
