Yes it is. When everyone in that part of the world only wants the eradication of Israel and nothing else, one must pause and wonder why the United States is among those who want to tie the Israelis' hands behind their back when they seem to be making some progress. We should be certain that Israel is well equipped and support their military decisions. After that, we need to just stay out of it.
