Why did Dems want Kerry to campaign for them?

John Kerry is a stupid, loathsome, elitist snob. No one likes him. His latest bit of ugliness is totally in keeping with what we expect of him. The really interesting question has to be why Democrats running for office all over the country had him on the campaign trail with them over the last few weeks.

Either the candidates are stupid, or they think their supporters are stupid.

C'mon, who wants to go hear John Kerry give a speech? Who opens their checkbook because of the chance to meet John Kerry? John Kerry?!!!
