Joe Buck -- say what?!

I know Joe Buck is just a talking head whose way into the business was greased by who his dad is. But even with the low expectations one has for him, you'd think someone with his experience would have learned to engage his brain before opening his mouth. Just heard him say "Tom Brady is far and away the best QB in the National Football League".

Given how sorry Brady has played in so many games this year, what does Buck actually do when the games are on the monitors in the studio? Does he even watch? And if he does, why doesn't he get someone who understands football to explain what is going on?
